Scary Pumpkins Table Mat

Made by Debbie Wick

I purchased this pattern at the Philadelphia Quilt Show a couple years back.

A gift for a wonderful friend!

This is my Jo Morton quilt I made that is hanging at my dear friend Linda's home in Northern Virginia.  It looks beautiful in her home!

"Sampler Hill" by Brenda Gervais

This was a fun one to stitch!  I stitched it on a pretty cream colored linen.  Looks so nice on the mantel of our newly painted living room.  I am now working on another of her designs called "Heart of the Home Sampler" for my son and daughter-in-law.

One of my favorite quilts I have made from Blackbird Designs!

The bedrunner is called "Breakfast in Bed" and the quilt is called "Lazy Morning" by Blackbird Designs.  Their beautiful quilt book "Weekend" contains both of these and many other beauties!  I spent a lot of time collecting all of their beautiful blue and white fabrics made by Moda for Blackbird Designs for this duo and it truly was a delight in the end!  I had it machine quilted by a wonderful lady, Cindy, from Sew It Is quilt shop.  We spent many hours searching for the perfect machine designs for each section of the quilt top.  She did an amazing job!  Thank you, Cindy!!

The bedrunner was an applique class I taught in a quilt shop to some very special ladies who were fairly new to applique.  I taught them my technique for needleturn applique and they really caught on fast!  Two of the ladies won ribbons for their bedrunners!  Congratulations Joyce and Sue!!

Truly one of my favorite designers, Kim Diehl.

After teaching all of Kim's "Simple Whatnots I" quilts at The Quilted Crow in Harpursville, New York, last year, I still had to make this small beauty, "A Delightful Pairing" from the American Patchwork & Quilting Magazine, December 2013.  Appliqued and handquilted by Debbie Wick.

Blackbird Designs has done it again to me!

I love to applique and some day I will have enough butterflies to sew into a quilt!

I have been wanting to share with everyone the quilt I have been hand sewing since last October!  It is finally ready for the handquilting!  Hoorah!

I wanted to make mine unique, so I decided to make it into a cream, red, and green quilt that reminds me of the antique Christmas quilts of long ago.

The beautiful "French General" fabrics by Moda gave it a special touch!
