Gathering Garden Wall Quilt

 

 

One of my favorite wall quilts is the Gathering Garden Quilt I made in 2013 and which was designed by Kim Diehl.  I appliqued the quilt using my needleturn applique method.  The fabrics were from Henry Glass designed by Kim Diehl.  The colors are rich and vibrant and the rouched flower adds dimension to the center medallion! I have it hanging in our home from a black wrought iron star ring.  Looks so nice.

Sauder Village Quilt Show 2014

 

I want to share with you a picture of my Cottage Garden quilt at the Sauder Village 2014 Quilt Show.  It won a beautiful red ribbon for Second Place in Large Bed Quilt Mixed Technique Machine Quilted Category!  The show was so much fun to attend and the quilts were absolutely gorgeous this year!
